Knonam Bio

Knonam (Dana Willey) grew up in North Minneapolis on Colfax Avenue. At a young age he was influenced by all kinds of different music, but was drawn to gangster rappers like Too Short and Eazy E. In the late 90's he recorded his first song to Usher's "Nice and Slow". This sparked his interest in crafting a full album.

To find some assistance in creating his first release, Knonam went online to the Rhymesayers messageboard where he hooked up with Brother Ali and Eyedea. The two helped him create the album "I Swear to Drunk I'm Not God."
